take the train to KRISTIANSTAD C, not to lund, because, well, for starters I do not live in lund or anywhere near lund.

Well, I bought a ticket to Lund that is supposed to work all day tomorrow. Can I just get off at Kristianstad C with that ticket? I am planning to catch the 16.40 train tomorrow. It is supposed to arrive at Lund at 17.40. Is that OK?

NOOOOOO!!!! lund is an hour away from kristianstad c!!! I live on the EAST COAST, not the WEST! you will have to get another ticket, either from lund to kristianstad while on the train (or getting off at lund to get another ticket and get on another train an hour later), or from copenhagen to kristianstad. I don't know how it works in denmark (getting refunded for reused tickets, ie) though.

if you still take the 16.40 train, you'll be in kristianstad around 18.40 (providing that it goes all the way over here). that is a tad too late but what can I do. :)

also, when do you have to be in lund on wednesday? when does the orientation start? where is it? do they pick you up at the trainstation (they used to do that when I was an EAP student back in the day)? what info do you have?

Yeah, I have all the info - we'll read it tomorrow. I can (and will) take the 16.20 train - so wait for me at 18.20. I will go to the train station and try to upgrade to a bigger ticket, see if it works. So you wait for me at Kristianstad C at 18.20 and I will be there.
We can't call your phone because we can't find your number and because they don't know how to use their phone.

perfect! I will be at kristianstad C at 18.20. I'll get the car so we will hopefully not miss the 18.35 200m finals (ian thorpe vs. phelps). yes yes yes.
