I voted today. For the Alliance of the Right forces (SPS), although according to the preliminary count they didn't make the 5% minimum threshhold. That's rather too bad, but I won't be taking up the space here talking about the condition of the politics in Russia.
Thank you, Mel, for the wonderful letter from you. And that cool postcard you sent me a while back but I never said "thank you" for. Thank you. As I believe I mentioned, my problem now is not being able to reach a postoffice to actually send a letter.
On not updating my journal (seems like most of my updates talk about me not updating): Honestly, I am running into an issue of LJ that I think a lot of people ran into. From being a private journal, this now becomes a messageboard for public announcements. I don't like locked entries because they limit a lot of people, but in the same time I don't want certain people from reading it. My rule is simple: if you read my journal in secret, either don't make it a secret and tell me openly and it will all be good (like make me a friend, or comment occasionaly), or don't let me find out at all. Here I found out that my LJ is being read by someone. And I learned it because I heard a gossip about me, that originated with that person from my entry. So, my entries have long ago stopped containing anything private or even true. Most of those now go into rare phone conversations and letters. Maybe it'll change. We'll see. For now, since I know how paranoid you all are, I will say that the abovementioned person is not BookWorlds affiliated, so worry not.
And now I will go on with my mere tasks of doing crap. Like I will organize my calendar now.
