As you may heard I have arrived to Japan and settled at the dormitory on the Meiji Gakuin University Yokohama campus. The dormitory is small and is fully occupied by the 27 UC students. Interestingly enough, there is only one shower for the 11 guys, so that's promising to be fun.
In the other news, my name in this country is actually Dimitry Afanashiebu.
Finally, this place will either make me a gambler, or will make me never to gamble again - depending on my luck. Last night the luck wasn't with me - the random things I purchased at the store weren't what I expected. The sweet ice tea turned out to be the bitter rice tea. The fruity sake ended up being lavender flavored drink that smells like a detergent. At least the popcorn chicken, which actually was grilled fish, was still edible, and I survived the dinner. Cutting it close though...
Now I am off to a Yokohama city tour!
