Today I saw the nomenee of eleven Oscars. When it ended, my reaction was "Thank God it's over!" Why did they do it so long? The film was so incredibly boring at times, I could hardly stay awake (which I did). About half-way through the movie I realized that he is hitting on Galadriel. So I understood what emidala has been talking about. But Emmy only looked like her with golden hair! This time the actress' hair is short and dark, and I honestly couldn't see a single similiarity between them two. :)
About 15 minutes before the end of the film, I realized that there was Bilbo sitting next to DiCaprio in the cockpit. That made me laugh until the film ended, so the ending wasn't as bad.
My main problem was a complete lack of point - was it a biographical film or what? It had so many unexplained plot things that it really made me wonder - either we are all supposed to know where do these random people come from, or we are not supposed to care. I'd rather have more about who other people are, than all the scenes of his insanity. Though I take back that "more" part - I'd just have less of everything, but even more less of his insanity.
Critizise me if you will, but I thoght the movie really boring and pointless.
