Faking the Sith
I think I just saw some sort of a fake Episode VI rip-off type of thing. The film looked real enough, but the titles in the end said that it was directed by some Richard Marquand guy!!! And we all know that it was supposed to be by Lucas! So what I saw wasn't the real thing!!! I feel incredibly cheated...

But from what I saw, I have a lot of positive emotions! I even cried in the end! And when Lucas said that "Jar Jar isn't any stupider than Chewy" he was being very stupid, and even stupider to say that the Jar-Jar-people are the same as the mini-wookies. The little teddy bears are cute! If vader stood alongside with Ben and Yoda in the end, did Luke burn only his suit at the pyre? Because he had to disappear while still alive, ya?
And in Episode I, Qui-Gon-Gin turned to the dark side in the last second of his life, which is why he didn't disappear like all respectable Jedi.

Great film! Now when I get a hold of a big screen with good speakers, I can rewatch those again in the edited and remastered version. But first - I need to find Episode VI by Lucas, not by Marquand. Anyone has ideas?

Current Mood: shockedI see dead Jedi!
Current Music: ta-da, tada da da da!

Qui Gon didn't turn to the Dark Side, he just didn't have time to commit himself to the force, or maybe he did and he had better things to do as a ghost than hang around Obi Wan

When someone on the dark side of the force dies, they leave behind a residue (and they may have a cool blue explosion). Luke is able to tell where the Death Star used to be because he can feel the Emperor's residue.

During the Jedi Purge, Yoda was being chased by a wielder of the Dark side, and managed to kill him on Dagobah. The residue was enough to mask Yoda's presence, so that he escaped from the rest of the Purge. That's where Luke went to fight "Vader." It's also why Luke felt cold and strange.

Darth Maul surely didn't leave any residue. Where did you come up with that thing anyway?
